Terms and Conditions for The 2026 CeraVe CerAwards: Win a trip to Los Angeles (the "Competition")
By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (these "Terms and Conditions"). Promotional materials relating to the Competition, including all information on how to enter the Competition, also form part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between any terms referred to in such Competition materials and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions take precedence.

Eligibility:
- Residents in the UK aged 18+ only.
- Entrants must have internet access and a public account (i.e. not set to a 'private' account) on one of the following platforms: Instagram, TikTok or YouTube.
- Entrants must have a minimum of 1000 followers on the relevant social media channel(s) used to post their entry video (i.e. TikTok, Instagram or YouTube).
- Entrants must adhere to the L’Oréal Influencer and Content Creator Value Charter ("Value Charter") at all times.
- All winners (and their agents, if applicable) must be willing to sign L’Oréal's standard talent agreement ("Talent Agreement") prior to delivery of any prize.

- SKINTELLECTUAL: Best educational CeraVe content - showcase your knowledge and the power of our formulas.
- THE CERAVE SONG AWARD: Best music content - Show us your musical talents, whether its singing about CeraVe, playing an instrument or making a song out of CeraVe products (literally!). Your content should be both original and unique and not include the work of any third party unless you have obtained all the necessary rights, licenses and/or permissions in writing.
- CERAVE X BOOTS AWARD: Best in-store content - - Take us shopping with you! Head to your local Boots store & share your favourite products and knowledge.
- SKINCIDENT: Best moisturiser content - We know our dry skin can catch us out when we're least expecting it - think dry flakes on the inside of your tights, or dry knees in the changing room - share your story of your relatable dry skin-incident

Video entries must:
- only feature CeraVe and its products and not include references to any other products or brands; and
- if they feature music or sounds, only use Royalty Free sound/music from TikTok's Commercial Library (United Kingdom Usage) or Epidermic Sounds (for Instagram & YouTube).
- There is no limit to the number of video entries that can be submitted to the Competition per person but the same video can only be entered once in a single category.
- By completing and submitting a video and the registration form, entrants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and the Value Charter.
Prize Details:
Runner-up Prizes:
10 creators from each of the six categories will be selected by a judging panel as runner-up prize winners and invited to attend the CerAwards in London on 29th April 2026, and compete for a CerAward.
All runner-up prize winners will be responsible for arranging and covering the cost of any necessary travel to and from the event and any accommodation, if required.
Number of Runner-up Prize Winner(s): 60 (being 10 for each of the six categories).
Major prize:
From the 10 creators from each of the six categories who have been invited to attend the CerAwards, a judging panel will then select one creator from each of the six categories and those winners (the "Major Prize Winners"), will each win a CeraVe brand trip from 1st – 5th June 2026 in Los Angeles (the "Brand Trip").
The prize includes:
- a return economy class flight worth up to [1000] from a major UK airport to Los Angeles (such airline ticket will be booked by the Promoter on the winner's behalf).
- transfers between the winner's home address and a major UK airport.
- transfers between LAX airport and hotel accommodation.
- [four nights'] accommodation at a 4-5 star hotel in central Los Angeles (as chosen by the Promoter)].
- all food, drinks and experiences during the Brand Trip in Los Angeles which are provided for winners by the Promoter.
- Winners are solely responsible (at own expense) for ensuring compliance with any necessary visa and other legal travel requirements and regulations prior to departure (e.g. ESTA for the US), travel vaccinations, subsistence, local currency, any local taxes and/or charges. Failure to be granted a Visa and or have the necessary travel documentation will result in the winner forfeiting their prize.
- Winners are solely responsible (at own expenses) for arranging their own valid passports for a minimum 6 months on date of departure, travel insurance and health requirements.
- In the event that the flights are delayed or cancelled, or the winner misses their flight for any reason whatsoever, the winner must seek advice directly from the relevant airline in accordance with the airline’s terms and conditions or from their travel insurance provider (as applicable). For the avoidance of doubt, if a winner misses their flight, no alternative flight will be booked by the Promoter and the winner will need to make and pay for their own travel arrangements.
- Promoter is in no way responsible if any of the winners are denied access to the destination country or their flights for any reason.
- Any additional charges incurred during the stay must be settled with the hotel directly before departure.
- Prize excludes spending money, additional meals, drinks, gratuities, excursions and incidental expenses incurred in the general use and enjoyment of the prize other than those expressly stated as included.

Competition Details
Judging Procedure for Runner-up Prize Winners:
All complete, eligible and properly submitted entries received before the Entry Closing Date for each of the six categories will be reviewed by a panel of judges, which will include at least one independent judge (i.e. not a L’Oréal employee or someone who has been involved/associated with the promotion).
The judges will select ten (10) runner‑up prize winners for each of the six categories (sixty (60) runner‑up prize winners in total) whose video entries they judge to demonstrate the best quality of content, originality and creativity for the respective category (the “Judging Criteria”).
Judging Date for Major Prize Winners: [TBC] 2026
Judging Procedure for Major Prize Winners:
Under the second stage of the Competition, the final winner for each of the six categories will be selected on [05/03] 2026 by a separate panel of judges including at least one independent member who will choose the 6 winners (1 from each category) based on the same Judging Criteria set out above from those 60 entries which have been selected as runner-up prize winners.
The judges' decision is final. In the event of a tie, an additional independent judge will be invited to select the winner, based on the quality of content, original and creativity for the respective category.
Competition Winner Notification Date:
The major prize winners will be notified on 29 April 2026 at the CeraAwards event in London. They will then by followed up by [13th April] 2026 to confirm via email by [email protected]
The runner-up prize winners will be notified by [6 April] 2026.
Notification of Winner(s):
- The winners of the major prize will be contacted by the Promoter via [email protected] felt using the details provided within the Competition registration form upon entry.
- The winners of the runner-up prize will be contacted by the Promoter via [email protected] using the details provided within the Competition registration form upon entry.

If any major or runner-up prize winner:
- does not respond to the Promoter within [14 calendar days] of being notified of their winning entry to provide (as applicable) the address details, contact information, or any other necessary information;
- informs the Promoter at the time of prize notification that they are not eligible to travel to the United States;
- fails to sign the Talent Agreement within [14 calendar days] of being notified of their winning entry; and/or
- is deemed to have breached the Value Charter as part of the creation of their video(s), then the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative entry from all eligible entrants to the Competition by: (i) in the case of runner-up prize winners in the six categories, asking the relevant judging panel (or a replacement panel constituted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions) to apply the Judging Criteria to select an alternative winner from the remaining eligible entries in the relevant category; and (ii) in the case of a Major Prize Winner in any category, asking the panel of judges (or a replacement panel constituted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions) to apply the Judging Criteria to select an alternative winner from the remaining eligible runner‑up prize winners in the relevant category.
Delivery
Prize Delivery: Please allow up to [30 days] from the date a winner supplies the requested details for delivery of the flight ticket (in the case of major prize winners) or Award entry ticket (in the case of runner-up prize winners).
General Terms and Conditions
Entry and eligibility
- Entries must be received between the Entry Open Date and the Entry Closing Date.
- The Competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
- The Promoter's employees, their immediate family or any third party directly associated with the Competition are not eligible to enter.
- Incomplete, illegal, misdirected or late entries will not be valid. Proof of complying with the How to Enter Requirements will not be accepted as proof of receipt or entry. Promoter is not responsible for entries lost, damaged or delayed due to technical or connectivity or other problems.
- Multiple videos can be created and submitted by an entrant but an individual video can only be entered once and in a single category. Bulk entries from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be valid.
- Entrants represent and warrant that they have obtained all rights, licences, and permissions necessary, in writing, from any person who may have helped create and/or be featured in their entry, that their entry to the Competition fully complies with these Terms and Conditions and: (a) is their original work and does not include the work of a third party, or if it does include such work that they have obtained all rights, licences, and permissions necessary, in writing; (b) has not previously been submitted in any competition or other promotion and has not won an award or prize of any kind; (c) does not contain any use of the names, likenesses, photographs, or other identifying elements, in whole or in part, of any person, living, or dead without permission (proof of which must be provided to the Promoter upon request); (d) does not include trade marks, logos, or copyright protected material which belongs to third parties without permission (including, but not limited to, company names, music, photographs, motion picture or television programme clips or audio tracks, works of art, or images published on or in websites, television, movies, or other media); (e) is not subject to any third party agreements and the Promoter will not be required to pay or incur any sums to any person or entity as a result of its use (as set out in these Terms and Conditions) or the exploitation of the idea or video or rights therein; (f) does not defame, misrepresent, or contain disparaging remarks or any other content which could adversely affect the name, reputation or goodwill of the Promoter or any other individuals and/or entities (the determination of which shall remain in the sole discretion of the Promoter); (g) does not contain pornographic or sexual content, hateful or discriminatory content of any kind (including racism, sexism, etc.), does not contain content which promotes violence or harm to another living creature or any other offensive, obscene or inappropriate content (the determination of which shall remain in the sole discretion of the Promoter); (h) does not include threats of any kind or anything that may intimidate, harass, or bully anyone, or invade the privacy of any person (the determination of which shall remain in the sole discretion of the Promoter); (i) does not violate any applicable law or include any content that would encourage or provide instructions for a criminal offence; (j) does not feature, refer to, or mention any brands competing with the Promoter; and (k) does not contain any known virus, trojan horse, worm, trapdoor or similar software that may in any way infect or affect any of the Promoter's hardware or software systems. The Promoter reserves the right to remove or temporarily suspend from the Competition any content submitted if it suspects any breach of these Terms and Conditions or if it receives any complaint from a third party relating to such content.
- Any entrant who enters or attempts to enter the Competition in a manner, which in the Promoter's reasonable determination is contrary to these Terms and Conditions or by its nature is unjust to other entrants (including without limitation tampering with the operation of the Competition, cheating, hacking, deception or any other unfair playing practices such as intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or the Promoter and/or any of its agents or representatives) may be rejected from the Competition at the Promoter's sole discretion. Furthermore, where such actions have significantly impaired the Competition, the Promoter may, at their sole discretion, add further stages to the Competition as it deems reasonably necessary in order to resolve any problems arising as a result of such actions.

The Promoter reserves the right to require entrants to prove that they are eligible to enter the Competition and/or to carry out its own investigations (either itself or through a third party acting on its behalf) to verify that entrants have satisfied the Eligibility and How to Enter requirements. If a winner is found to be ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner from all other eligible entrants to receive their prize.
Prize fulfilment and disqualification - Prizes are as stated, they are not transferable and there are no alternative prizes or cash substitutes. Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that the selected prize is unavailable for any reason whatsoever.

A winner forfeits their prize and the Promotes reserves the right to select an alternative winner in accordance with the Judging Criteria if:
- within 3 weeks of being notified by Promoter, a winner does not respond or does not provide their full name and relevant details (if applicable, details for the prize to be despatched to in the eligible country of residence);
- or if a prize is rejected or returned undeliverable; or
- if an entry is invalid or an entrant is disqualified or in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
- Promoter reserve the right to disqualify an entrant or winner that, in its absolute discretion, could bring the Promoter into disrepute, including any entrant or winner who has breached the Value Charter.
- Promoter shall disqualify any entries that have failed to abide by and/or are in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

The surname and county of the winner(s) can be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope, within 4 weeks of the Competition Selection Date to the Promoter at Gateway Central, White City Place, 187 Wood Lane, London, W12 7SA, referencing the Competition name. If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at the aforementioned address. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
Conditions of travel - The prize includes one return economy class airline ticket from the airport closest to the winner's address in England (inclusive of all applicable rail taxes, fees and duties) to New York City for one person. Airline tickets must be booked by the Promoter at least [insert number][weeks/days] before the planned travel date and the journey itinerary will be selected by the Promoter at their sole discretion. [Once issued, airline tickets cannot be re-issued and date or routing changes are not permitted.] Airline conditions of carriage for the airfare will apply.

Prize excludes spending money, additional meals, drinks, gratuities, excursions, attractions, treatments, visas, travel insurance, personal expenses, telephone calls and incidental expenses incurred whilst on the prize trip, other than those stated as included.
Promotional Activity relating to the Competition -
In entering the Competition, all entrants and winners agree to participate in any promotional activity relating to the Competition, which may include entry content, voice, image and name for publicity purposes (in any media, print or online, including any websites, social media sites or third party retailer websites) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material (whether or not related to the Competition) free of charge without additional compensation or prior notice. Promoter may modify any entry content to fit in context with the relevant usage, whilst maintaining its original sentiment.
Personal Information - All personal details and/or information given in the application either in the entry process or otherwise must be truthful, accurate and in no way misleading. Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entrants if they have supplied untruthful, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information.

Any personal information that entrants share with the Promoter (including name, address, email, social media profile, or other data) will be kept secure and only used in line with each Promoter’s Privacy Policies and these Terms. By entering the Competition, entrants acknowledge that their information may be used by the Promoter and its suppliers to administer the Competition. The Promoter may contact entrants by email, post, phone, SMS or other means in relation to the Competition, but will not send entrants any marketing communication unless entrants have also agreed to this or the Promoter has another lawful basis for the communication.
Use of Entry Content -
By entering the Competition, an entrant:
- (a) confirms they have the right to make available their content as is required by the Competition How to Enter Requirements, including the express consent of anyone else who features in their entry for the Promoter to use their personal data; and
- (b) confirms their entry does not infringe any third party intellectual property rights.
- Promoter shall own all the copyright and other intellectual property rights in the entries and any other materials (whether visual, oral or written) generated during the various stages of this Competition, in perpetuity and on a worldwide basis for use at Promoter's sole discretion including, without limitation, use in advertising, other media, press releases, editorial and promotional activity, point of sale material, Promoter's websites, third party websites (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube), newsletters, e-newsletters or as a product label. However, the Promoter shall be under no obligation to use any entry, including the winning entry, in any manner, including on any product for any particular duration.

Accordingly entrants assign to Promoter any copyright and other intellectual property rights which exist in their participation in this Competition and irrevocably waive any moral rights that could vest in them (which shall include their name, location and age) under the Copyrights, Designs and Patents Act 1988 or otherwise, and undertake to do all things necessary immediately on Promoter’s request to effect or confirm any assignment in this paragraph.
Limitation of Liability -
Neither Promoter nor agencies nor suppliers involved in this Competition may be liable to the winners, whether arising from tort including negligence, breach of contract or otherwise or for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered whatsoever as a result of or relating to participation in this Competition or the prizes to the extent permissible by law. No compensation for loss of earnings will be paid by Promoter for participation in any aspect of this Competition.
Social Media Platform Specific Terms - By entering the Competition, entrants will be deemed to be bound by and have accepted these Terms and Conditions and the terms of the relevant platform used to post their video entry: Instagram Terms of Use, Instagram Privacy Policy, Meta Platform Terms, TikTok Terms of Service, TikTok Privacy Policy, and YouTube Terms of Service (as applicable). Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entries that have failed to abide by and/or are in breach of these aforementioned terms.

This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, TikTok or YouTube. You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to Instagram, TikTok or YouTube. The information you provide will only be used as stated in these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Competition, entrants will be deemed to have released Instagram, TikTok and/or YouTube (as applicable) from any and all liability arising from their participation in the Competition or out of, pursuant to, or as a result of the carrying out of the Competition.
General Terms - Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to amend or waive any of these Terms and Conditions, or suspend or cancel the Competition at any stage, in the event of circumstances that are unforeseen or beyond its reasonable control (including suspected or actual fraudulent or misleading practices or other breaches of these Terms and Conditions).
- English law applies and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any proceedings in connection with this Competition.
